RE: MC & Company Participation Breasts for Life Gala

On behalf of our past and present fundraising committee, Breasts for Life, I wish to commend you and your colleagues with the fine orchestral arrangements you have provided for our Gala throughout the last several years. As you know, Breasts for Life sponsors a Gala Black Tie evening each Fall, with a "country destination" as our theme. Your orchestra has blended so well and our guests have commented year after year how much they have enjoyed the dancing, music, and fine singers. Suffice to say, there is no question why we have renewed our contract with MC & Company year after year. We must also mention that we appreciate the dinner background orchestrations you provide, and the flexibility with which you have adapted the orchestra's timing each evening. You enable us to complete our acknowledgements, testimonials and the separate "theme/traditional" entertainment we present for the pleasure of our patrons.

With our proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and in 2006, an additional recipient, the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, we endeavour to provide a fun filled and elegant dinner dance. Thanks in no small part to the sounds of MC & Company, I can tell you that our Evening in Ireland, taking place in October 2006, was completely sold out by the end of May.

We all look forward to another successful and enjoyable night in October and once again raise a fine sum for our cause, Breast Cancer.

Yours truly,

Bonnie Griffin

We are very pleased to report that our October 15th client event was a huge success – the feedback we have received from both our clients and staff confirmed that everyone had a wonderful evening.

Your quartet played a large part in setting the mood and added a very special touch to our pre-show cocktail reception. Please find a small token of our appreciation enclosed!

Please share this with your fellow band members and let them know how much we appreciated and enjoyed your music.

I hope we are able to work together again soon!

Thanks again,

Dear MC & Company,

I just wanted to thank you and your band for the wonderful job you did at our wedding. Your professionalism and talent are to be commended and helped to make our special day even more special. To this day, we are still being asked by people who were at our wedding, “Who was that amazing band that played at your wedding?” I can’t begin to explain what a wonderful sense of pride I have knowing that the guests at my wedding truly enjoyed themselves and it was thanks to your help. The food was awesome, the flowers were fresh but what made a lasting impression on all was the entertainment you provided throughout the course of the evening. I remember that when the lights of the Banquet Hall came on around 1:30am, I still saw people dancing it up, having a great time and not having any intention of going home anytime soon; definitely rare these days.

I loved the way you and your band were so accommodating with our families’ musical requests (understandably not always an easy task). No request was too impossible and the music that you played that night sounded exactly as though it was coming from a CD. Sherie was absolutely delightful and amazing. She has such a remarkable energy around her that she had absolutely no problems getting my guests up and out of their seats and onto the dance floor. When she came up to my husband and I and serenaded us, we felt as though we had known her for a lifetime.

The most touching part of the evening, was the Father Tribute that I had planned and coordinated with the videographer. While a video played showing pictures of my late father, Sherie’s voice provided the perfect accompaniment to the tribute and helped make it all the more special.

Whenever I can, I will definitely be referring MC & Company to all future brides. There’s nothing like having a live band playing either while receiving guests or during the reception. Once again, my husband and I thank you for being part of our wedding and we wish you continued success.

Sincerely,
Monica and Mike Lopresti

We can't thank you enough for the music that you and your group provided for Betsy and Ryan's wedding in July. Without exception, every comment about the music was effusively positive. The music carried the evening, never overpowering, always in perfect touch with the mood of our guests.

You could tell from the crowded dance floor that your (and our) song selections touched everyone's dancing gene at one time or another throughout the evening. There were people out on the floor that had not danced in years. Your vocalists were terrific and the instruments balanced the singing beautifully.

Thank you for helping to make the wedding such a success.

Sincerely,
Janie and Robert Constantine

"Citius, Altius, Fortius!" This Latin phrase is the Olympic motto, meaning in modern English, "Swifter, Higher, Stronger!" Every four years, athletes from around the globe meet with this phrase ringing in their ears.

Winners need internal fortitude. The desire for success must drown out any thought of failure. Your performance at our wedding truly deserves the gold medal.

Striking the delicate balance between likes and dislikes can sometimes be difficult. Two traits I hold in high regard personally and professionally are integrity and respect.

Consequently, I am compelled to tell you that working with you was an absolute pleasure. You are always upbeat and upfront in your business dealings and your music provided our wedding with the perfect ambiance to a perfect day.

I will recommend you to all of my friends and family. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Paul Morassutti

This letter is long overdue but it also demonstrates how much of an impact MC & Company had at our wedding. It's been almost 9 months since we were married and just last weekend at a family gathering, people were still talking about how wonderful the band was at our wedding! Your music was one of the highlights of our special day.

As you know, we did not have a chance to hear your band play before our wedding day. There were two reasons why this was not a problem. First, one of my friends who I know to be very, very picky, recommended you. He is not the type of person to recommend just anyone and so I felt that the praise that he gave you was likely an indication of how good you were. Second, on the occasions that we spoke and met, you took the time to explain how the band is assembled, and how you prepare for each of your gigs and what services you provide. Your patience, flexibility and experience in helping plan weddings were much appreciated, especially important when you are dealing with a frenzied bride-to-be!

One of my dreams I had of my wedding was to have a trumpet player play "Trumpet Tune and Air" and "Trumpet Voluntary" during the wedding ceremony. The musician that you recommended did a superb job, and my mother still talks about how perfect the timing of the music was during the procession and recession. The attention to detail was much appreciated.

Too often we have gone to weddings where the after dinner entertainment has not inspired the guests to dance and most people leave shortly after dinner. Not you! All of our guests danced and by the end of the evening when you had finished, our guests were far from ready to go home. The next day when we had guests come to our family home, people were asking who you were and if you played at events around the city that they could attend. Since our wedding we have let our guests know when you are performing. I think our wedding may have started a following for MC & Company!

Thank you again for helping make our day a very special and memorable one. Best wishes for the future.

Kind regards,
Kristin and Armando Armellini

I am writing this letter as a reference for MC & Company.

I got married on August 31st, 2003 and feel fortunate to have been able to hire this band to be part of our special day. They set the tone for the most fabulous evening and we never stopped receiving complements about MC & Company to which many people were interested to go enjoy their music at other locations they would be playing at in the future.

MC & Company was extremely accommodating and always had time to meet with us to discuss our music choices, various sets for the evening, etc. We felt so comfortable with our band choice before our wedding day and could not have been more impressed with the job they did on the day. MC & Company is an extremely talented group of people who will impress anyone who listens to them.

Kind Regards
Terri Reynolds
