Over the last several years, Mike Cadó has been involved in several musical projects. In addition to his work with The Mike Cadó Tentet, MC & Company, and Sherie Marshall, Mike also leads his own Blues combo that performs a wide range of material from the blues repertoire including the music of Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Robert Cray. The group has performed at numerous blues venues throughout Toronto and various blues and jazz festivals including The Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival and The Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival. The group consists of Mike Cadó – Guitar/Vocals, George Christie – Keyboards, Sandro Tersigni – Bass, and Rob Fraccaro – Drums. Occasionally, blues harmonica sensation Ken Yoshioka joins the group as well.

In addition to being an accomplished performer, Mike Cadó is also a talented arranger and composer. He has arranged and composed for various musical settings including film, small to large popular music groups and jazz ensembles. Recently, Mike has composed several large-scale extended works for modern Jazz Orchestra that explore various 20th-century compositional techniques fused with contemporary jazz and improvisational elements.
